2013 On-Line Horticulture Judging Contest
Do you know what it takes to pick out the best produce at the grocery store or what judges are observing when they look at plants during county fair? I am excited to offer the opportunity to learn this and other important horticulture skills through the On-line Horticulture Judging Contest. This contest is open to 4-H members, their families, and Extension professionals and it can be used as a county contest or a qualifier contest for the State 4-H Horticulture Judging contest at State Fair (or for bragging rights among your peers). The horticulture judging contest consists of three parts; judging, knowledge exam, and identification of plant material which can include looking at plant parts, seeds, flowers, or vegetables.
The quiz will be available from June 14-24th at midnight. The password is Nebraska.
