If you cannot open these slide sets, try this:
Some operating systems automatically compress (zip) these files for download. To access the slides, choose the "Save As" option, save the file to your desktop (or wherever), and then open the files within the PowerPoint program. Once in PowerPoint, choose "Open," then "All File Types," and select the zipped file. You can then save the file as a PowerPoint presentation. You'll only have to do this once.
Another option for opening the slides: If you can't download the PowerPoint from Internet Explorer, trying downloading it from Firefox. Email Alice Henneman if you have problems.
