University of Nebraska—Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture On-Line Continuing Education Programs
The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture offers a variety of unique and specialized courses to meet your educational goals. NCTA offers general on-line courses, Veterinary Technology on-line courses and Dual Credit courses are offered through the Blackboard Course Management System. Various courses are offered each spring and fall semesters.
The Dual Credit Program has been established for junior or seniors in high school to obtain a dual credit college course at a reduced rate that will in many cases transfer into other institutions. The tuition currently for instate and out of state residence is $43.75 per credit hour for high school students. Many of these courses are also offered to future students that are not enrolled in high school through the on-line format. The credit hour fee will be based on the regular credit hourly tuition rate for non-high school participants.
The Veterinary Technology Program at NCTA has been AVMA accredited since 1973. Our on-line classes are perfect for the person working in a veterinary clinic who would like to get started on a degree path as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician. These classes allow students to hone their veterinary technician skills while preparing them for the national licensing exam.
