Process Development
The Food Processing Center offers innovative scale-up of bench top concepts at our pilot plant facilities that help identify and solve processing issues before you invest in full-scale production. Our Food Grade Pilot Plant allows you to use prototypes and samples for actual tasting. Our facilities provide for processing of products in every major food group: grains, cereals, fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and meat and poultry. We can bring in rental equipment or new equipment prototypes!
This service is provided to food manufacturers interested in saving development time and money. Due to extreme cost and time delays in development of new food products on manufacturing equipment, a client can use the resources at the Food Processing Center to batch up pilot plant volumes of the product to use for marketing research, analytical testing, shelf-life or packaging studies, ingredient qualifications, and challenge studies.
