Roads to Nebraska

Though there are many routes into Lincoln, it is hoped that these basic directions will help you get to the East Campus and L.W. Chase Hall. View a Google map of location here.

Traveling by car from the north, east or west of Lincoln: Take Interstate 80 to the 27th Street exit. Turn south and go to Holdrege. Turn left on Holdrege. At the second driveway on the left, turn left into the campus. Follow the road to the right when it splits. Turn left at the East Campus Mall. There is a parking lot entrance on the right after you pass two buildings. Meters are available, or see the department secretary on the 2nd floor of the building for a parking permit.

Traveling by car from the south, east of Lincoln: Take Highway 29 from Kansas City, Missouri. Exit at Nebraska City and turn left onto Highway 2. In about 1 hour, you will be reaching the outskirts of Lincoln. Turn right on 48th Street. Continue to Holdrege and turn left, and stay in the left lane. After the road narrows to one lane, turn right at the stop light into the campus. Turn left at the end of the short entrance street. Turn right at the first street, East Campus Mall. There is a parking lot entrance on the right after you pass two buildings. Meters are available, or see the department secretary on the 2nd floor of the building for a parking permit.

Traveling by car from the south, west of Lincoln: Navigate to either Interstate 80 (follow directions above) or Highway 77. Pass throught Beatrice and continue north. Follow signs into Lincoln, leaving 77, as you approach the outskirts of the town. You will merge onto Highway 2, which merges into 10th street. Turn right on O Street. Continue to 33rd Street and turn left. Proceed north to Holdrege, and turn right. At the second driveway on the left, turn left into the campus. Follow the road to the right when it splits. Turn left at the East Campus Mall. There is a parking lot entrance on the right after you pass two buildings.
