Welcome to the meat science extension program in the Animal Science Department at UNL. Our state-of-the-art facilities are among the best in the country. The program includes extension activities covering the breadth of topics in the meat science field. Specific areas of expertise include programs in food safety, HACCP, fresh and processed meat production, and youth education.
