Age Level: 8 to 14. Beginner to Intermediate

The Nebraska 4-H Clothing projects give members opportunities to: - Make decisions - Be creative - Gain knowledge and skills - Work and share with others In the Clothing Level I curriculum, youth will learn basic clothing construction skills including selecting fabric and pattern, basic sewing techniques, clothing care and tips on modeling and grooming. To assess youth learning, the curriculum suggests that youth master 40 out of 50 skills listed on the Clothing Construction Skills Checklist before moving on the Clothing Level II. This curriculum is aligned to school standards.
