Unicameral Youth Legislature
DISCOVER UNICAMERAL YOUTH LEGISLATURE
Youth will learn what it’s like to serve as a state senator. The Unicameral Youth Conference is a four-day legislative simulation for current high school students who take on the role of a lawmaker. Student senators sponsor bills, conduct committee hearings, debate legislation and discover the unique process of the nation’s only unicameral. The conference is organized by University of Nebraska–Lincoln Extension 4-H Youth Development. The Clerk of the Nebraska Legislature, through the Unicameral Information Office, serves as a technical consultant for the Unicameral Youth Conference.
